PACE™ is not just a high quality performance management software product.It is an
organization improvement process. We provide you with high quality on-site consulting services designed to improve your performance management processes.
- We write new job descriptions for you. The problems inherent with many performance management systems today is not simply the lack of automation, but the lack of clear and objective performance standards for employees. We develop new job descriptions for you that clarify for employees what is expected of them.
- We develop objective, challenging and measurable evaluation criteria. We write job descriptions in a way that you can use them to evaluate your employees on each performance standard listed. We also develop criteria that show employees how they can exceed in their job, and criteria for times when an employee would need to improve their performance.
- We develop short statements for your employees for each job position that clearly states the role of the job in the continuum of care. These will prove helpful when surveyors ask your employees how their job impacts patient care.
- We consolidate job titles for you. Another way to say this is that we are able to consolidate the many different job descriptions you have. The flexibility of the PACE™ evaluation form allows us to include the performance standards from similar yet different job titles in the same form. The manager has the ability to make weighting changes in each employee's form to reflect the actual responsibilities of the employee and the time they spend performing them.
- We have an extensive database of Best Practice competencies. The Joint Commission expects you to evaluate both an employee's job performance and their ability to perform the job expected of them. We have a large database of knowledge, skills and abilities competencies that you can use to determine what your employees should be evaluated on.
- We involve your managers and employees in the process. We have a database of thousands of job descriptions, but no one knows the jobs of your organization better than your employees and managers. By involving them in the process, you get more than just concrete standards that are fair and objective. Your employees are vested in their job descriptions and the new PACE™ system. We are continually pleased by the reports we get from our clients about employee satisfaction with the process.
- We are compliant with all JCAHO, OSHA, ADA and state regulations. In more than eight years of implementing PACE™ for our clients, PACE™ has been 100% compliant with JCAHO, OSHA, ADA, and other regulatory standards.
- Our consultants are well versed in the latest regulatory changes, and we incorporate those into our work. We also keep all of our clients informed about regulatory changes that can affect their performance management processes, and often provide specific recommendations and/or new material at no additional charge.
- We develop organization-wide performance standards. We work with your management team and write organization-wide performance standards that are based on your vision, mission and values and apply to all employees. The best way to educate your staff and ensure successful culture changes is by incorporating your values into performance expectations.
- We provide on-site performance management consulting at no additional charge. We work with you and your managers to improve your performance management processes. If we see something that concerns us, whether it is related to the PACE™ implementation or not, we will bring it to your attention. In the manager/employee workshops, we provide your managers with advice on how to improve their supervisory skills. The PACE™ Users Manual also contains invaluable information for your managers on the Performance Management Cycle and performance management best practices.
- We continue to partner with you. We provide ongoing help desk and field support to address all of your questions and concerns. We maintain ongoing relationships with our clients to ensure that they are satisfied with PACE™, surveying them to determine their ongoing needs and incorporating those needs into our software upgrades.We also continuously monitor the regulatory environment of our
clients and send software content updates to them.
